Matthew Hastie joins C&D as Sales Director

Matthew Hastie has been appointed sales director of C&D Group to drive sustained growth through 2017 and into the future. ​

In the past year, owner Karen Davison-Renouf has overseen the purchase of three new business properties in Wiltshire, the adoption of an inbound marketing strategy, a new cloud CRM software system and newly launched recruitment website. Karen said, “Matthew joining our team has been a great addition and he has embraced the C&D ethos, integrity and passion for delivery fully, leaving me extremely happy with my hire.”

Matthew, or Matt as he is known by clients and colleagues, is highly experienced at recruitment boardroom level negotiations, tendering and delivery.  Matt has very quickly presented his sales vision for the next three years to the enthusiastic support of everyone at C&D.

Laying out ambitious targets for the new Sales Transformation Process, Matt is confident in C&D’s ability to focus the company’s sales on key growth areas utilising the strengths of C&D Group.

Discussing his appointment, Matt says, “I met with Karen several times and at every meeting, her enthusiasm for C&D’s mission and recruitment as a sector made a profound impression on me.  All research and references to C&D pointed to a very positive company focused on getting results for both job seekers and clients and succeeding at both. Asked about his thoughts on the next three to twelve months Matt explains his focus.  “In the long run, the specialist recruitment we deliver, focused by my own efforts on our objectives, will be instrumental in delivering strong organic growth.  This growth will naturally be in the sectors where our recruiters are traditionally niche experts i.e. Logistics, Driving, Industrial, Commercial and IT.

“Over the next three months, we will see a team effort to drive us out of any comfort zones and way up into the blue.  Expect to see a definite spike in growth and revenue driven by the delivery of the right recruitment solutions and the perfect candidate experience.”
