C&D Team win Charity Golf Day in aid of CALM

 15 May 2010

Friday 14th May saw nine teams tee off at Broome Manor Golf Course in aid of CALM. The rain held off and the C&D Team teed off first with high hopes of a great round!

C&D Senior Consultants, Rob Lancaster and Jason Holmes, took clients Andy Young from Homebase and Gary Deacon from WHSMith. The team gelled immediately and went on to win the event. Rob Lancaster commented that he had just played the best round of golf in his entire life.

The C&D team thoroughly enjoyed the course and said that Broome Manor was in top condition and a credit to the local manager, Dave Buckingham.

Karen Davison, C&D MD said, "Dave Buckingham organised a great golf experience and the evening meal served at The Old Bank was outstanding. I would like to thank Rikki Hunt and everyone else involved for an enjoyable time that was also all in a good cause for CALM".

The charity golf day event has raised more than £1,600 for CALM (Children's Cancer And Leukaemia Movement), a local children's cancer charity.
