C&D work in partnership with a leading organisation to work within their warehousing department. These are brand new roles created due to growth. You will have some experience of leading a team and already work within a Warehouse Team Leading capacity, or be looking for a step up into a managerial role and to further your career.

The main purpose of the job will be to support the Shift Manager in leading the day to day activities and to proactively plan labour, equipment and activities during the shift.

Key tasks will include;

  • To manage the people and the processes
  • To ensure the right resources are deployed to successfully complete all tasks
  • To promote a safe working environment and ensure safe working practices are adhered to throughout the warehouse
  • To proactively identify and flag problems and ensure these problems are resolved
  • To foster a positive working environment through regular communication with the team, providing feedback; encouraging ideas, developing skills, understanding concerns and celebrating success
  • To ensure the company's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved, in terms of output and quality
  • Identifying talent and working with individuals to grow and develop their skills

These are full time and permanent positions with a view to start immediately. Both roles are permanent and are based in Swindon. The roles could include the following shift patterns; 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm. Night shifts and weekend hours could also be expected, where shift premiums are available.
