We are looking for individuals to join our client; Nationwide Building Society, in the role of Service Consultant. Your main role will be speaking to Nationwide’s customers on the telephone, which requires an exceptional level of service, as you will be helping them to manage their finances. You will be required to ensure that every customer interaction has a positive outcome - so making sure you do the right thing for customers is paramount to Nationwide’s success. Whether you’re supplying them with account information or processing an overdraft request, you’ll need to think about the bigger picture for Nationwide’s customers and how you can help them more, whether that would be by discussing other products or services they may benefit from or giving them an opportunity to discuss these needs further with a colleague. It’s a challenging but supportive environment and you will be provided you with all the training you’ll need to succeed in your role.


The ideal candidate:


  • Will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Will be assertive and able to make informed decisions
  • Will need to be computer literate and confident to use and learn skills on new databases
  • Will be a confident and approachable individual, ideally with a background in customer service
  • Will be eager to learn new skills and be able to follow processes from beginning to end.



This is initially a temporary position with a 52-week contract, however for the right candidate this opportunity has the potential to become a permanent placement. You will be required to work 35 hours a week, these will vary between; 06:00-22:00, Monday-Sunday, earning £8.79 per hour.

Please note that due to the nature of this position, no holiday can be taken during the initial 2 weeks due to essential training.
