The role and responsibilities
The Technical/Building Auditor Lead is part of a team of auditors which are field-based providing quality assurance, supplier management, asset review and cost assessment services across multiple contracts.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deputise for the Life Cycle manager where necessary
  • Managing the Technical Building audit team and the clients QHSE requirements
  • Monitor performance and report areas requiring support
  • Maintain KPI measures
  • Ensure audits are carried agreed standard and offer continual development
  • Review customer perception results from site in conjunction with audit findings and reports from the client of issues.
  • Support operational teams in their liaison with client representatives
  • Liaison with clients to develop relationships and understand business requirements
  • Review and report own requirements for ad hoc training on an as required basis
  • Responsible for own H&S and that of your colleagues
  • Manage the Assurance and compliance process in the enhancement of systems and procedures to the benefit of KBR and the client
  • Assist with the continuous development the KBR Integrator
  • Develop and promote a clear understanding of KBR activities and requirements in order to provide a best in class knowledgeable service
  • Ensure that at all times the image of the provision of services reflects the professional image of KBR and strive to continually improve the perception of the company
  • Assist with the implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans where required.
 
Qualifications:
Essential:
  • Educated to minimum HNC level in a technical discipline relevant to FM
  • Suitable & sufficient broad FM management related experience
  • Proven H&S competency
  • Qualified – Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate
  • ISO19011 and 18001 accredited
  • Technical report writing skills
  • Understanding of building compliance & legislation
  • Intermediate IT skills in MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Hold or ability to pass CTC security clearance
  • Managerial experience
  • Client Facing
 
Desirable:
  • Educated to degree level, preferably within a relevant H&S technical discipline
  • Associated professional membership in an appropriate discipline
  • Experience of auditing FM related services
Experience and skills
A minimum of five years’ experience working within a Facilities Management or Health and Safety based discipline within both an operational and supervisory capacity. Have a proven ability to provide technical assistance to both technical and non-technical persons within the identified discipline. Ability to successfully manage time-keeping and work content working as an individual and as part of a small technical team within tight deadlines. Proven track record of managing compliance processes and a team of auditors.
