Location:             Nationwide House
Duration:             12 weeks
Days:                     Monday-Friday
Hours:                   08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00 (35 hours-flexible)
Pay:                       £10.00


We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client; Nationwide Building Society, who are looking for an experienced and organised individual to join them in the position of Procurement Administrator.

About the role:

Within this role you will be co-ordinating the software renewal process and engaging with the business to confirm requirements, e.g number of licenses and manage and monitor the Procurement inbox.

You will be engaging with different departments including Finance to;
Confirm budget availability

Colleagues across Procurement to;
Confirm contract coverage/deal with commercial queries

Suppliers to;
Regarding requested quotes

You will be required to engage with colleagues at all different levels.
This is an admin based role and you will be required to produce reports and track progress on trackers. You will also be accessing multiple systems at one time therefore multi-tasking skills is beneficial. Communication skills are essential as you will be speaking to colleagues across the business via telephone/email/face to face and have the potential to host conference calls.

The ideal candidate:

  • Will have the ability to communicate well with stakeholders and manage workload effectively
  • Will have strong Organisation skills and will be comfortable Multi-tasking
  • Will be comfortable to work independently as well as being a team Player
  • Will be reliable and have a flexible approach to work
  • Will have strong administration and telephone skills
  • Software Asset Management and Procurement/Purchasing experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Will be proficient on MS Applications and have previous data entry experience
  • Will have access database experience
  • Procurement systems experience would be desirable
