Payroll Administrator

Temporary – ongoing (strong possibility role will become permanent)

Salary £10 - £11/hour

Location: Swindon

Hours: 37/week Monday to Thursday 8:30 – 16:30 Friday 8:00 – 15:30

Position Overview

We have an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our client’s busy and growing business in Swindon comprising of almost 450 staff members. You will be responsible for providing  payroll administrative support within the Educational trust sector.

The candidate will:

  • Have previous experience
  • Be able to complete monthly payroll with accurate data and within short deadlines
  • Have good excel skills
  • Have great verbal and written communication skills
  • Have basic numeracy and English skills – A-C GCSE level or equivalent
  • Have experience in reconciliation of payroll file
  • Have experience in supporting monthly salary reporting activities
  • Be able to prepare monthly excel payroll submission file – including starters, leavers, amendments, Pension, Maternity, deductions and allowances
  • Be a strong team player
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be flexible and happy to perform other adhoc duties as required
