As Metering Advisor, you will be part of the Metering Operations Team. The Metering Operations Team is responsible for the relationships with our metering partners (who fit, read and maintain our customers’ meters) and the timely flow of customer information and accurate data between Good Energy and the Gas and Electricity Industry itself.


Main Responsabilities


This role will be focused on analysing metering enquiries, customer data and resolving exceptions, the complexity and nature of which will vary. You will also engage with third party metering partners on a day to day basis. Other key duties and accountabilities of the role will include:


  • Reviewing and resolving customer and metering enquiries as well as industry data exceptions
  • Monitoring the gas and electricity registration processes to ensure the smooth delivery of our change of supplier activity
  • Managing data flows between central industry systems and Good Energy systems
  • Handling metering exceptions that impact settlement and billing processes
  • Dealing with ad-hoc tasks, as allocated by more senior team members
  • Liaising with managed services provider


About you


To succeed in the role you will be conscientious with keen attention to detail. You will possess excellent problem solving skills coupled with the ability to make considered decisions and act upon these. Numerate and analytical skills are key attributes required, along with the ability to self-motivate and manage your own workload. Knowledge and experience of the utilities industry is desirable for this position.
