Junior Sous Chef, Hotel, 3* 2 Rosette, Tetbury, Gloucestershire

We are looking to recruit a Junior Sous Chef to join our busy, friendly Kitchen team here at our 3* Hotel in Gloucestershire.

This busy hotel, includes a Bar, Restaurant & Conference Room, which welcomes lots of residents, locals and visitors to the town of Tetbury.

What we’re looking for:

  • An enthusiastic & dynamic Junior Sous Chef with passion, flair and an eye for detail.
  • The ability to lead a team of CDPs along with having a hand in ordering and Food Safety Management within the kitchen.
  • Someone with a background of dealing with and preparing fresh ingredients
  • Good communication skills
  • A team player who will be expected to build, motivate and develop the brigade to get the best results from them at all times.

About You:

  • Experienced and confident in structuring the kitchen to deliver our wide ranging food offer from early in the morning until late at night.
  • Skilled in all sections of the kitchen.
  • Willing to contribute in developing our offer to ensure customers return on a regular basis.
  • Wants to be part of a progressive and forward thinking entrepreneurial business.

Some or all of the following skills would be advantageous*:

  • Menu development and costing experience
  • The ability to maintain 5 star food hygiene standards.
