4*Hotel, 1 Rosette restaurant

An exciting and stretching opportunity for a Head Chef to "pick up the baton" and make their mark.

Develop and hone your management skills as you build your team around a wide ranging food offer which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner. So, you have plenty of scope to be creative.

It is a busy, fast paced environment which in addition to the Bar & Restaurant menus also caters for up to approximately 100 weddings a year plus private events of up to 100 people.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients and be capable and confident within any section of the kitchen.

What we’re looking for:

  • An enthusiastic, dynamic and qualified Head Chef who is ready for a new challenge or an up and coming, experienced Sous Chef ready to take the helm
  • Someone with a background of dealing with high volume and preparing fresh ingredients
  • Proven track record of running a professional kitchen
  • Good communication skills
  • A team player who will be expected to build, motivate and develop your brigade to get the best results from them at all times

About You:

  • Experienced and confident in structuring the kitchen to deliver our wide ranging food offer from early in the morning until late at night.
  • Passionate about what you put on the plate
  • Willing to contribute in developing our offer to ensure customers return on a regular basis
  • Team player who is willing to support and develop your Brigade
  • Wants to be part of a progressive and forward thinking business

Some or all of the following skills would be advantageous:

  • Menu development and costing experience
  • Proven track record of managing budgeted GPs
  • Staff training
  • The ability to maintain 5 star food hygiene standards
