Are you a hands-on Finance Manager with proven experience in a SME, Ability to work as a true stakeholder with a business and identify areas to make core efficiencies

Managing a small team, you will be responsible for the UK accounts for a highly reputed niche business

All about the role:


Specific accounting experience will need to include but not be limited bank reconciliations, ledger management, VAT returns and the full payroll cycle.

The candidate should also have extensive experience with the reporting and strategic elements of accounting including: monthly management accounts, yearly statutory accounts and production of the trial balance. 

Fully equipped to provide expert financial advice on demand; and should have experience in dealing with banks, capital raising and generally improving company and director credibility.

This proactive position would be particularly suitable for someone who is forward thinking and has a sharp eye for cost analysis and efficiency savings; with a determination to fight tooth and nail to reduce costs at all times.

A high degree of general business acumen would be an advantage as other business opportunities / initiatives are constantly being appraised. 

 

Ideally you will have:

  • ACCA OR CIMA – Strong QBE would be considered
  • Experience in high growth SME environments.
  • Ability to manage key partner relationships.
  • Ability to confidently manage group functions for tax, treasury, consolidation and reporting.
  • High level of financial and business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Strong time management, organisational and planning skills.
  • Strong management and team leadership skills.
