Finance & Procurement Administrator

The C&D Group are working in partnership with an organisation within the educational sector to recruit for a Finance and Procurement Administrator. This is a full-time temporary position. The role will be ongoing with the potential to become permanent in the future. The role is based in North Swindon and offers free parking.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role will work to assist the Finance and Procurement teams in a range of duties. 

Key Accountabilities will include;

  • To be responsible for the data input and administration of orders, receipts, payments and invoicing;
  • Monitor all expenditure, orders raised, cheques printed, payments made, oversee receipt of goods, processing of journal entries and undertake end of year budget procedures;
  • Manage the proper collection, reconciliation and banking of monies;
  • To oversee the Petty Cash process ensuring all receipts and payments are accurately recorded on the relevant financial ledger and prepare transactions for authorisation;
  • To enter all income onto the relevant finance system and produce receipts for authorisation

Applicants will need to have experience within a similar role. Strong numeracy and literacy skills are required as well as good computer skills and experience of working with Excel and Word.

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm.
