Key duties will include:

  • Inputs salary adjustments, hours, holiday and sickness to be paid and checks bonus payments.
  • Maintains payroll files with the data required and the list of missing data.
  • Maintains AIS data about employees and produces the relevant reports.
  • Provides payroll information to Accounts on a monthly and annual basis, raises tax and NI payments.
  • Checks payroll costs and balances with the relevant internal accounts.
  • Calculates Sick Pay, Paternity pay, Adoption pay and Southern Regional Allowances according to the guidelines.
  • Checks timesheets from stores and Logistics and enters the information on the payroll system.
  • Ensures that all employees in responsibility are paid timely and accurately according to the information on the timesheet.

Your experience:

  • Ideally at least 2 years in a payroll administrator or processing role
  • Very strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
