C&D are currently looking for a Customer Service Team Leader working for one of Swindon’s top employers. This is a permanent role working in a great environment, and is a excellent opportunity for anyone looking for a new role.

Working hours are done in shifts between 6am and 8pm, working 3 weekdays and Saturday and Sunday, with the Sunday shift being fixed at 7am-1pm, all of which equates to a 37 hour week.

Role Responsibilities:

  • supporting new & existing customers through all interactions, both positive and negative, in a professional manner and customer centric manner.
  • On the phone handling of retailer complaints, client queries, cancellation requests and debt issues
  • Manage and train the Customer Service standards with the room; quality monitoring the phone calls and emails of the team
  • Be responsible for leading the shift and taking responsibility for all actions and tasks being completed to the required standard and with the required time lines within the shift
  • Expected to deputise for the Customer Support Manager and attend conference calls and meetings as required
  • The team liaise with the client, depots and our retail customers as well as internal facing teams, and therefore maintaining and leading the team to deliver high standards at all times is essential
  • Responsible for allocation and management of the workload of 8+ team members (Customer Service staff)
  • Adhere to clear business processes for all activities undertaken, which are robust, fully documented, frequently reviewed and updated when better, more efficient ways are devised
  • Excel spreadsheet management


To secure this role working for one of the most prestigious employers in Swindon, you will need to have worked in a customer focused role and have a track record of delivering excellence in customer Service.  You will have worked in a Customer Service desk or call centre and be used to dealing with a high volume of calls. You will have strong organisational and IT skills.
