Job Title – Contracts Supervisor

Position – Full Time - Permanent

Salary – up to £30,000/annum

Based Royal Wotton Bassett, Swindon, Wiltshire

Job Purpose

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic contracts supervisor to lead the Contracting Executive team to deliver all ground elements of the holiday package to meet the required customer standards. Create and maintain strong contractual relationships with our key suppliers ensuring a good mix of both competitive and exclusive rate agreements.

Typical activities

  • Manage the contracting executive team to ensure that all deadlines are met in accordance with business demand and agreed buying process.
  • Establish and communicate clear objectives and timelines for the team and suppliers
  • Ensure that all ground elements are contractually agreed, recorded with formal stock review.
  • Lead the team to ensure rate analysis versus prior year and external market  pricing is competitive.
  • Work with Contracting Managers to prioritise re-negotiations on rates as required to ensure the company have ‘best’ rates in market.
  • To ensure that all ground element contracts do not create any business liability or financial losses as a result of failure to conform with agreed contractual terms and conditions.
  • Ensure that all terms and conditions are adhered to by the business and where necessary, communicated to customers via marketing and the post booking documentation process.
  • Control and update all stock availability in the reservation system
  • Ensure that the correct processes for buying, communicating, loading and releasing stock are adhered to by contract executives
  • Manage by example, consistently displaying behaviour in keeping with supervisory position and company standards
  • Manage and respond to internal and external email and telephone queries and requests I a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure viability of all on sale packages and have good knowledge of this company's range of products.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with suppliers, internal departments and global offices.
  • Represent the department at product and marketing sign off meetings prior to on-sale release
  • Ensure regular team and staff meetings – Driving development, enhancing business and personal development
  • Review processes to ensure agreed best practice standards are consistently adhered to.

Desirable

  • Travel industry experience would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Interest in Travel
