C&D Group are working in partnership with a Wiltshire based company to recruit for an Accounts Assistant. This is a full-time role based in Salisbury, working on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Duties include;

  • Sales Ledger
  • Monthly Statements
  • Credit Control as required
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Weekly invoice raising using Excel & Sage
  • Set up new reports, forecasts, etc using Excel
  • Reconciliation
  • Responsible for filing and archive
  • Dealing with customer / supplier queries
  • Expenses


Skills / Qualifications Required;

  • Knowledge of an accounts package (preferably Sage 50 accounts)
  • A good working knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Understanding of accruals & prepayments
  • Experience in a busy Accounts environment
  • Able to work with different currencies
  • High level of numeracy and accuracy with a methodical approach to work
  • Ability to work within deadlines and prioritise own workload


Standard hours are Monday to Friday office hours over a 37.5 hour working week. Benefits include free parking and a pension scheme.
