C&D Secure Free English Lessons for 25 Temporary Workers
22 Apr 2010
C&D have secured funding for 25 temporary workers, to have training on improving their English skills, when English is their second language via a local provider.
The classes are FREE and will be held onsite at one of C&D's major contract clients, WHSmith at Greenbridge, Swindon. They are open to any temporary worker that has been with C&D for more than 6 months and lived in the EU for the last 3 years.
The course lasts for 14 weeks and is a great opportunity to improve their English as a second language. Each person will be assessed by the external trainers to determine which level of English is already attained.
Craig Shand, C&D Onsite Consultant said, "I am delighted for my temporary staff, as this is a rare and fantastic opportunity to take advantage of free training which can only enhance their work prospects here in the UK".
