C&D Group 2019 PRIDE Awards and Dinner

C&D Group 2019 PRIDE Awards | C&D Recruitment

 7 Jan 2019

Saturday 5th January saw the well known C&D Group PRIDE Awards and Dinner take place at the Old Bank, Wood Street, Swindon.  After an extremely successful year there were many successes to celebrate and the values of the C&D PRIDE Awards contribute greatly to this success by ensuring every candidate has an excellent journey, the client receives close and supportive collaboration and every encounter with staff and management is positive, respectful and fulfilling.

For the first time, the C&D Group PRIDE Awards included our construction and contact centre business.

The recipients of the C&D Group PRIDE Awards were:-

Neil Thakrar for the C&D Group People Centric Award - for providing an excellent end to end client and applicant experience

Lynne Boulton for the C&D Group Respect Award - for offering ideas, suggestions and helpful feedback whilst participating in teamwork and group initiatives and encouraging, guiding and advising the teams

Ursula Gawthorn for the C&D Group Influence Award - for continually implementing new ideas, creating dynamic products, training and developing and turning challenging situations around quickly and efficiently

Gina Rouse for the C&D Group Delivery Award - for offering excellent contingent recruitment solutions and taking their team to new heights and growth

Adrian Pathiranage and Ionel Popescu (Dunstable) for the C&D Group Enthusiasm Award - for approaching every task and situation with huge energy and drive and giving their all to the C&D goal

This year a 6th award was added - a Special Recognition C&D Pride Award for outstanding service to C&D during 2018 and encompassing all our PRIDE categories and the winner of this was:-

Chris Hornbuckle

Chris has over-delivered on every commitment and target set during 2018 and has shown respect for his colleagues, clients and applicants.

Moving into 2019 Chris now has a well deserved promotion as Industrial Manager with a whole host of new challenging responsibilities and targets and will join the middle management structure of the C&D Group.

Karen Davison-Renouf, founder of the C&D Group, has always encouraged and nurtured these values with all teams at the sites from Birmingham to Dunstable to Head Office and our other Swindon locations.

The Awards were followed by a lovely meal for which the C&D Group would like to thank Mani Madhani in terms of the varied choice of menu and 24-7 for supplying a great range of music for everyone to dance to.

C&D Group look forward to another successful year in 2019.

Well done to all the award winners and to C&D for being such a thoughtful and forward looking company. There should be a special award for Kath Curr though for being the kind, caring and compassionate lady that she is. A big thank you from Route 66. Kath will understand!. Best wishes. Ray.
