2018 Swindon Charity Ball in support of the Brighter Futures Radiotherapy appeal

2018 Swindon Charity Ball in support of the Brighter Futures Radiotherapy appeal

 12 Feb 2018

This year the Swindon Charity Ball will be supporting the Brighter Futures Radiotherapy appeal which aims to see a radiotherapy unit installed at GWR Hospital to serve the needs of patients in and around Swindon.
Such a radiotherapy unit will vastly improve the current unacceptable absence of local treatment which demands that ill patients need to travel to better-equipped facilities in neighbouring counties such Oxford’s John Ratcliffe Hospital to receive essential life-saving treatment.
The Swindon Charity Ball
SATURDAY MAY 12th, 2018 at The Swindon Marriott Hotel.
Brighter Futures, the charity of Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, is trying to raise a massive £2.9m to help bring the life-saving radiotherapy treatment to Swindon, cutting out that journey time and all the stress it brings.
Champagne reception from 7 pm with “carriages” at 1 am the following morning.
Dress code: Black tie with a touch of Bollywood!
Charity recipient: Brighter Futures Radio Therapy Appeal.
Appeal for Sponsorship
Thanks to Rotary International’s generous Global Grant scheme, every penny raised by the 2018 ball can be match-funded, so the more we raise at a local level the higher the overall proceeds will be.
We are now looking for businesses to sponsor the ball in any way you can – be it match-funding, auction prizes or other sponsorship deals – to make sure this amazing Global Grant opportunity is maximised.
To become a sponsor please get in touch with Sue Harding at
